Lincoln Electric Flextec 500X Multiprocess Welder, Aluminum One-Pak, Push-Pull

The Lincoln Electric Flextec 500X multiprocess welder Aluminum One-Pak is set up for aluminum MIG welding, pairing the 500 A power source with a Power Feed 25M push-pull wire feeder and a Magnum PRO Aluminum rear trigger gun. The power source also covers stick, flux-cored, TIG and arc gouging, with basic pulse MIG, CrossLinc control and an IP23 rating for shipyards, construction sites and fabrication shops.

The Power Feed 25M advanced feeder combines a MAXTRAC drive system with full controls and procedural memory presets, and its push-pull function keeps aluminum wire feeding uniformly. Its fully enclosed housing shields the wire from humidity and contamination and gives access to specialized aluminum pulse modes. A 2-roll drive with wire guides for 3/64 in. and 1/16 in. aluminum wire, a Harris aluminum flowmeter/regulator and the necessary cables complete the package under one part number.

Basic pulse MIG (GMAW) on the Flextec 500X includes weld modes for aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel and metal-cored wire, and the machine also handles stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW) and gouging. CrossLinc passes voltage or current control through the standard weld cable, so settings can be changed at the arc while the power source stays hundreds of feet away, and the IP23 enclosure is rated for outdoor work.
