Lincoln Electric Flextec 650X Multiprocess Welder, Flex Feed 84 One-Pak, 815A

The Lincoln Electric Flextec 650X multiprocess welder delivers up to 815 A, and this CrossLinc / Flex Feed 84 One-Pak pairs it with the Flex Feed 84 wire feeder for heavy-duty shop work. The 650X runs on 380/460/575 V three-phase input and suits thick material and large-diameter wire in structural fabrication, shipbuilding and pipeline work.

The Flex Feed 84 displays parameters on digital meters and stores user weld schedules for quick recall. Its four-drive-roll system feeds solid wire up to 1/16 in. (1.6 mm) and cored wire up to 5/64 in. (2 mm), and the feeder is rated for up to 600 A. CrossLinc lets procedures be adjusted at the feeder without control cables, which means fewer trips back to the power source and less clutter around the work area.

The power source handles stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), flux-cored and submerged arc welding plus gouging. True Voltage Technology (TVT) offsets the voltage lost over long cable runs, one-knob process selection and fast arc response keep operation simple, and the IP23 enclosure with a Desert Duty rating up to 131°F (55°C) handles harsh outdoor sites.
