Lincoln Electric Frontier 400X Diesel Welder Generator, 400A, Kubota, K3484-4

The Lincoln Electric Frontier 400X (Kubota, K3484-4) is a diesel welder generator that delivers up to 400 A in CC and CV modes (IEC rated 325 A) plus 11,000 W of continuous three-phase auxiliary power. A liquid-cooled Kubota diesel drives it for pipeline and structural steel work and for industrial maintenance on sites without grid power.

Six optimized CC/CV modes and advanced modes for STT, pulsed MIG, pulsed TIG and mechanized welding cover stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), pulsed MIG, flux-cored (FCAW), TIG (GTAW), pulsed TIG, STT and air carbon arc gouging (CAC-A). STT suits low-heat-input root passes on open-root pipe joints, and the CC output runs E7018 and E8018 structural electrodes.

CrossLinc sets voltage or current at the arc over the standard weld cable, so no control cable is needed even when working at height, and True Voltage Technology (TVT) compensates for voltage drop on long leads. The 7-inch digital display stores weld memory, shows maintenance alerts and offers PIN authorization for fleet control, and Auto-Stop/Start trims idle fuel use and engine wear. The welder comes with the operator's manual, a 12VDC battery and starter system, and single- and three-phase receptacles.
