Lincoln Electric Frontier 400X Ready-Pak 2 Welder Generator, Kubota, K3484-2-RP2

The Lincoln Electric Frontier 400X Ready-Pak 2 (Kubota, K3484-2-RP2) is a diesel welder generator on a preassembled trailer with integrated lighting and forklift pockets, aimed at rental operations and professional contractors. It delivers up to 400 A (325 A IEC rated) and 11 kW of continuous three-phase power from a 24.8 HP Kubota engine.

The Kubota diesel meets EPA Tier 4 Final, starts reliably in cold weather and tolerates high altitude, and its 20-gallon (75.7 L) tank works with Auto-Stop/Start, which shuts the engine down during idle periods to save fuel and engine wear. The 11 kW three-phase auxiliary output runs plasma cutters, inverter welders and industrial tools on site.

Six optimized CC and CV modes are joined by STT, pulsed MIG, pulsed TIG and mechanized-equipment modes. The 7-inch digital interface stores parameter memories, schedules maintenance and offers PIN user authorization, CrossLinc allows parameter changes at the weld through the weld cable rather than a control cable, and True Voltage Technology (TVT) offsets voltage drop on long cable runs.
