Lincoln Electric Maverick 260X Diesel Welder Generator, 300A, 9 kW, Kubota

The Lincoln Electric Maverick 260X is a compact Kubota diesel welder generator designed for work-truck installation and mobile jobs. It provides 300 A for stick, TIG, MIG, flux-cored and gouging work plus 9,000 W of continuous 120/240 V single-phase power, and it weighs 620 lbs (281 kg).

Output ranges are 35-300 A for stick (SMAW), 25-300 A for DC TIG (GTAW), 13-40 V for CV wire covering MIG (GMAW) and self- or gas-shielded flux-cored, and 100-300 A for arc gouging with 3/16 in. (5.0 mm) carbons. A direct-connect spool gun mode handles aluminum welding without an extra interface module, and peak open-circuit voltage is 80 V at 3600 RPM.

The 4.6-inch weatherproof LCD manages process setup, maintenance scheduling and PIN authorization, which lets supervisors control machine use in rental and fleet operation, and CrossLinc adjusts parameters at the weld without a control cable. The two-cylinder, water-cooled Kubota Z602 (16.8 hp) meets EPA Tier 4 Final, draws from a 12-gallon (45.4 L) tank with Auto-Stop/Start, and is rated 77.1 dB at idle and 82.6 dB at full load. Receptacles are NEMA 5-20R and NEMA 14-50R.
