The Lincoln Electric OMNIShield XC is a face shield PAPR (powered air-purifying respirator) that pairs a respiratory blower with a face shield in a single system, designed to give respiratory, head, eye and face protection together. Its high-density polycarbonate lens is certified to ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3, and this version carries the VIKING air-purifying blower on the operator's back in an adjustable VIKING PAPR back pack.

The lens is built to protect against high-velocity impacts, and at 0.077 in. it is 90% thicker than a traditional 0.040 in. face shield. An anti-fog coating keeps visibility clear, an integrated chin and neck guard extends coverage, and the lightweight, high-strength shell uses adjustable headgear to distribute weight for comfort.

The smart blower runs from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated for up to 16 hours of charge, and its LED display shows battery life, flow rate and filter life. Audible and vibratory alerts warn the wearer, and the blower adjusts its speed automatically. On this back pack version, the adjustable VIKING PAPR back pack holds the blower on the operator's back.
