Lincoln Electric VIKING 3350 PAPR Welding Respirator, 4C Lens, Standard Battery

The Lincoln Electric VIKING 3350 PAPR is a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) welding helmet system that sends air from a two-speed blower through a hose into a modified black VIKING 3350 auto-darkening helmet. The helmet's 4C lens carries a 1/1/1/1 optical clarity rating and a 12.5 sq in view, the HEPA filter is rated 99.97% at 0.3 microns, and the system supplies breathing air for up to eight hours.

Inside the helmet, an adjustable baffling system directs airflow away from the eyes so they do not dry out. The 2.2 lb blower signals low battery with audible and vibrating alarms, and the system is a NIOSH 42 CFR Part 84 approved loose-fitting, positive-pressure respirator that filters shop air and delivers breathable air to the welder. Included are a head cover, a hose with hose cover, 2 particulate filters, a pre-filter, a spark guard and a rechargeable battery with a 120 V charger.

4C technology keeps the 1/1/1/1 clarity rating while reducing the lime-green tint, which improves visibility and eases eye strain. The auto-darkening lens is continuously variable from shade 5 to 13 with an internal control, adjustable sensitivity and delay, a grind mode and 4 arc sensors, powered by solar cells and a replaceable lithium battery. A 5.25 x 4.5 in. cartridge gives a 3.74 x 3.34 in. (12.50 sq in) view, the lens accepts a magnifying cheater lens, and the headgear is pivot style. A 29-52 in. padded belt, shoulder strap and duffle bag round out this welding respirator kit.
