Lincoln Electric PIPEFAB Ready-Pak Pipe Welding System
The PIPEFAB Ready-Pak is a Lincoln Electric welding system aimed at pipe fabrication shops and structural pipe jobs, with a power source and a wire feeder working together. It runs MIG, pulse MIG, flux-cored and stick, plus STT surface tension transfer, with welding programs built around the root, fill and cap passes of a pipe joint.
Lincoln Electric waveform technology underlies the system. Arc control is tuned to handle out-of-position pipe welds in the 5G and 6G positions, and a digital memory keeps weld procedure and qualification settings specific to pipe work.
Weld data monitoring is compatible with Lincoln Electric CheckPoint, which helps with procedure compliance. Named applications include spool-shop fabrication of piping for oil and gas, chemical and power generation systems; construction piping for process, HVAC and fire suppression systems; and structural tubular and HSS work across construction and heavy industry.
