The Lincoln Electric POWER MIG 262 is a 300 A MIG welder for MIG and flux-cored welding in fabrication, auto body, maintenance and repair, and light industrial work. It runs on 208, 230, 460 or 575 V single-phase power and delivers 5-300 A with a 60% duty cycle at 230 A. The package includes a Magnum PRO 250L gun, a gas regulator and hose, and a drive roll kit.

Output runs from 5 to 300 A, and the low 5 A minimum with precise wire feed control suits thin-gauge auto body and sheet metal, while open-circuit voltage reaches 90 V. The MAXTRAC industrial wire drive keeps feed speed steady at 50-700 ipm (1.3-17.7 m/min) with 0.023 to 3/64 in. (0.6-1.2 mm) wire, and an angled gun connection helps the wire feed smoothly. For aluminum welding, it works with push-pull guns as well as Magnum PRO spool guns.

On the front panel, a seven-segment display and simple knobs set voltage, select the gun and open an advanced menu. Two 115 V outlets on the front can power grinders, work lights and other tools, and an ergonomic front handle, a Coil Claw cable organizer and a side-mounted tool holder keep the work area organized. This wire feed welder weighs 250 lbs (113.4 kg), measures 37.5 x 18 x 37.5 in. (H x W x D) and replaces the discontinued POWER MIG 256.
