Lincoln Electric Power Wave S700 Multiprocess Welder, 700A, 380-575V, 3-Phase

The Lincoln Electric Power Wave S700 multiprocess welder is a 700 A inverter-based advanced process power source for heavy production work such as large-diameter pipe, heavy structural sections, shipbuilding and offshore fabrication. It delivers 600 A at a 100% duty cycle on 380-575 V three-phase input and runs with ArcLink Power Feed wire feeders or from its front-panel controls.

Waveform Control Technology adjusts the arc waveform continuously during the weld to improve bead appearance and reduce heat input and spatter. Processes include stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), flux-cored (FCAW), TIG (GTAW), submerged arc (SAW), STT, pulsed GMAW, RapidArc and air carbon arc gouging (CAC-A), with a CC range of 5-700 A and a CV range of 10-44 V.

A Power Feed 84, 84 Dual or 25M serves as the main operator interface over ArcLink, enabling process synergy, stored welding procedure recall and production data logging, while an ArcLink LN-25 Pro suits portable FCAW and GMAW. Typical uses include STT root passes on pipe, pulsed GMAW on stainless steel and nickel alloys, and carbon arc gouging with 1/2 in. electrodes. The inverter uses fan-on-demand cooling and weighs 230 lb (104 kg).
