The Lincoln Electric Precision TIG 225 AC/DC TIG welder Ready-Pak with Cart adds a cart to the 225-amp inverter TIG and stick machine, along with a gas-cooled TIG torch, the K870 foot pedal, a work clamp and an input power cord. It delivers 5-225 A DC TIG and 5-200 A AC TIG on 208-230 V single-phase power for fabrication shops, automotive shops and vocational training.

AC frequency adjusts from 20 to 150 Hz and AC balance from 15 to 85% electrode negative. For aluminum welding, AC Auto Balance sets the mix of cleaning and penetration automatically, and it can be bypassed for manual control on thicker material or heavy oxide layers. Arc starts use high frequency, with Lift-Arc available on DC, post-flow gas is adjustable, and the simple interface only asks for mode and polarity before welding. Micro-Start II technology improves starting, arc stability and crater fills.

The TIG pulser (0.1-10 Hz, DC only) limits distortion from excess heat input and helps keep filler deposition and bead appearance consistent. As a stick (SMAW) welder it runs electrodes up to 5/32 in. (4.0 mm), including Fleetweld 5P+ (E6010), and 115 V receptacles can power a water cooler or other tools. The K870 foot pedal puts amperage control at the welder's foot.
