Lincoln Electric Prism Central System Welding Fume Extractor, 5 HP, 2750 CFM

The Lincoln Electric Prism Central System is a central fume extraction unit for robotic welding and plasma cutting systems, combining fan and filtration in a small footprint. This AD1326-17 version has a 5 HP fan rated at 2750 CFM and four vertical filter banks, and it connects to hooded automated systems or to plasma cutting tables.

Filter cleaning is automatic: when a preset pressure differential is reached, high-energy pulses of compressed air clean the filters, and the vertical filter orientation makes those pulses more effective. The compressed air is supplied by the customer and has to be clean, dry and oil free. Particulates removed from the filters collect in a 30 gallon dust bin.

A variable speed drive adapts extraction airflow to the application and regulates fan speed as the filters load, to maximize fume extraction while saving energy and extending equipment life, and a silencer on the exhaust fan reduces airflow noise. Installation is simple: the base module is secured to the floor, the upper filter module with its pre-installed fan fastens to the leg base, Lincoln Smart Connect speeds up the wiring, and the last steps are positioning the silencer and dust bin and connecting power, compressed air and the duct sensor.
