Lincoln Electric Prism Mobile HEPA Welding Fume Extractor Base Unit, H14 Filter

The Lincoln Electric Prism Mobile HEPA is a low-vacuum mobile welding fume extractor that filters the air through a HEPA ePTFE H14 filter and returns it to the shop. Built for light- to medium-duty source capture where the work location changes, this base unit comes without an extraction arm, so a Prism Mobile arm or a hose and hood set completes it.

Airflow reaches 750 SCFM with a flexible 10 ft or 13 ft extraction arm, though the real figure varies with arm length, fan type and system maintenance. Capture options are a 10 ft or 13 ft Prism Mobile arm, with or without the Arc Sensor/lamp kit, or a 16.4 ft hose and hood set. On/off is manual, or automatic with an arm that carries the Arc Sensor and lamp kit. An internal spark arrestor doubles as a pre-filter, trapping larger particulate and stopping sparks before the main filter.

The disposable, non-cleaning HEPA ePTFE H14 filter has a large 538 sq ft (50 m²) filter area, which means fewer change-outs and lower operating costs; a color-coded status indicator tracks how much filter life remains, and the main filter is replaced without tools. Front casters and rear wheels roll the unit right up to the weld. It handles stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW) and flux-cored welding fume, but not plasma cutting, arc gouging, grinding or oxy-fuel work.
