Lincoln Electric Prism Mobile HEPA Welding Fume Extractor, 13 ft Arm, Arc Sensor

This Lincoln Electric Prism Mobile HEPA One-Pak is a ready-to-use mobile welding fume extractor: it combines the Prism Mobile HEPA base unit (K1653-6) with a 13 ft (4 m) fume extraction arm fitted with the Arc Sensor/lamp kit (K2633-8). The Arc Sensor starts the extractor when an arc is struck and stops it when welding ends, and the lamp lights the work area.

Airflow through the flexible 13 ft arm is 750 SCFM, and the real figure varies with arm length, fan type and system maintenance. The arm is lightweight and resists dents and scratches, and its hood rotates 360 degrees for precise positioning over the weld. An internal spark arrestor doubles as a pre-filter, trapping larger particulate and stopping sparks before the main filter.

The disposable, non-cleaning HEPA ePTFE H14 filter has a large 538 sq ft (50 m²) filter area, which means fewer change-outs and lower operating costs; a color-coded status indicator tracks how much filter life remains, and the main filter is replaced without tools. Front casters and rear wheels roll the unit right up to the weld. It handles stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW) and flux-cored welding fume, but not plasma cutting, arc gouging, grinding or oxy-fuel work.
