Lincoln Electric Prism Mobile Mechanized Cleaning Fume Extractor Base, MERV 14

This Lincoln Electric Prism Mobile welding fume extractor with Mechanized Cleaning is a low-vacuum base unit for light to medium duty work in changing locations, and its RotaPulse system cleans the filter automatically to cut maintenance. It carries a MERV 14 filter, and Lincoln says the main filter lasts up to 4 times longer than on the Prism Mobile.

RotaPulse automatic filter cleaning reduces maintenance, and the larger filter surface area means fewer changes and lower operating costs. Airflow is 735 CFM with a flexible 10 ft or 13 ft extraction arm, and the real figure varies with arm length, fan type and system maintenance. The capture device is chosen to suit the work, with a choice of several extraction arm models or a hose and hood set.

An internal spark arrestor acts as a pre-filter, catching larger-sized particulate and keeping sparks off the filter. A color-coded indicator shows remaining filter life, the main filter is replaced without tools, on/off operation can be manual or automatic, and front casters with rear wheels make the unit easy to position. Typical settings are small manufacturing, schools and training, fabrication, and plant maintenance and repair; it is not suitable for cutting or arc gouging.
