The Lincoln Electric Ranger 230MP is a multi-process welder generator in a compact package, with single-knob control, delivering 230 A of stick, MIG and flux-cored welding output. Its 23.5 HP Rehlko CH730 engine supplies 10,500 W peak and 9,500 W continuous 120/240 V single-phase power, and the whole unit weighs 426 lbs.

Output ranges are 35-230 A and 15-30 V, and Chopper Technology gives smoother starts and a steadier arc. The glove-friendly knob speeds setup, an electronic choke eases starting, a front-facing gauge shows fuel at a glance, and Auto-Idle lowers noise and fuel consumption as the welding load falls. Generator power and welding can run at the same time, and under 5% total harmonic distortion lets laptops and other sensitive electronics be powered.
