The Lincoln Electric Ranger 260MPX is a compact gas welder generator for stick, TIG, MIG and flux-cored welding, with a digital screen, push-and-turn controls and Ready.Set.Weld setup guidance. A 23.5 HP Kohler CH730 engine provides up to 260 A of CC stick output and 9,500 W of continuous 120/240 V power in a 446 lb (202 kg) package.

Ranges are 35-260 A for CC stick, 20-250 A for touch-start TIG (GTAW) and 14-28 V for CV wire, covering MIG (GMAW) and self- or gas-shielded flux-cored, and the machine is rated 231 A at 29.2 V and 100% duty cycle at 104°F (40°C). Ready.Set.Weld recommends parameters through a five-step entry, Chopper Technology improves arc control, CrossLinc allows adjustment at the weld without extra control cables, and maintenance alerts flag service.

Clean AC power with under 5% total harmonic distortion runs computers and diagnostic equipment while welding continues, through NEMA 5-20R, NEMA 6-50R and NEMA 14-50R receptacles at 60 Hz. The two-cylinder, air-cooled Kohler OHV Command engine draws from an 11-gallon (41.6 L) tank, and the unit measures 26 x 20 x 36 in. (660 x 508 x 914 mm), suiting construction, field erection, fabrication and repair welding.
