The Lincoln Electric Ranger Air 260MPX is a multi-function welder generator with a built-in air compressor, combining welding, air, AC power and battery charging with jump assist. It supplies 260 A for stick, TIG, MIG and flux-cored work and a Vanair rotary screw compressor rated 40 CFM at 150 psi, driven by a 26.5 hp Kohler gasoline engine.

This engine-driven welder covers stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW) and flux-cored welding, with CC stick at 35-260 A, touch-start TIG at 25-260 A and CV wire at 16-27 V, and CrossLinc enables remote control of welding parameters without extra control cables. The compressor delivers 40 CFM at 150 psi with a 225 psi maximum system pressure, protected by a safety relief valve and a high-temperature shutdown.

Aimed at contractors, maintenance technicians and field service crews, the Ranger Air 260MPX matches engine speed to demand, limits idle time with auto stop/start and handles monitoring and diagnostics on a digital interface. The Kohler ECH749 electronic throttle body engine is a two-cylinder, air-cooled gasoline design rated 26.5 hp with an 11 gal (41.6 L) tank, and the 565 lb (256 kg) unit measures 26 x 20 x 48 in.
