Lincoln Electric Tomahawk 1000 Plasma Cutter with Hand Torch, 1 in. Cut, K2808-1

The Lincoln Electric Tomahawk 1000 plasma cutter with a 25 ft hand torch cuts mild steel up to 1 in. thick and is portable enough for job-site work. PowerConnect technology adjusts automatically to 200-600 V single- or three-phase input, so the same machine runs in the shop or on construction, shipbuilding, field erection and heavy fabrication jobs.

Setup starts with a connection to compressed air. Touch Start lights the arc without high frequency, continuous output control focuses the arc for different material thicknesses, and the front-panel purge control sets the air without striking an arc. Cutting output stays constant across the whole 200-600 V range at 50 or 60 Hz, and the electrode and nozzle design runs cooler for longer consumable life.

The Parts-in-Place system checks that the torch and consumables are installed correctly. For remote work the plasma cutter can run from a Lincoln Electric Ranger or Vantage engine drive, and an optional machine torch adapts it to CNC plasma tables and robotic cutting cells. Supplied with the unit are the LC65 torch on a 25 ft (7.5 m) cable, an air regulator with pressure gauge and an internal water separator.
