Lincoln Electric Tomahawk 30 Air Plasma Cutter, Built-In Compressor, 230V
The Lincoln Electric Tomahawk 30 Air plasma cutter has a built-in air compressor, so it cuts where no compressed air is available, and it can also run from an external compressor. It delivers 15-30 A on 230 V single-phase power, cuts 5/16 in. mild steel at 22 ipm (3/8 in. maximum) and comes with a 10 ft LC30 hand torch.
Rated output is 25 A at 90 V and 100% duty cycle or 30 A at 92 V and 60%, with 16 A of input current at maximum output, and severance capacity is 1/2 in. Continuous output control focuses the arc for different thicknesses, Touch Start lights it without high-frequency interference, and Rapid Arc Restrike keeps cutting across gaps and expanded metal. The front-panel purge control sets airflow without starting the arc.
Swirling airflow keeps the electrode and tip cooler for longer consumable life, and the Parts-in-Place system checks that consumables and torch parts are installed properly. The 40 lb (19 kg) unit measures 15.2 x 8.5 x 18.9 in. (H x W x D), takes air or nitrogen at 80-110 psi from an external supply, and can run from a Lincoln Electric Ranger or Vantage engine drive in remote locations. Uses include garage and automotive shops, construction, general fabrication, maintenance and repair, and marine work.
