Lincoln Electric Vantage 322 Diesel Welder Generator, Kubota, 400A, 11 kW
The Lincoln Electric Vantage 322 diesel welder generator puts up to 400 A of multi-process welding output and 11 kW of continuous three-phase auxiliary power in a compact package that fits most service trucks. A 22 hp Kubota Tier 4 Final engine drives a 300 A IEC rating at 100% duty cycle, and the machine is aimed at construction, pipeline work and rental fleets.
This engine-driven welder handles stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), flux-cored welding (FCAW), TIG (GTAW) and carbon arc gouging through five modes: Arc Gouging, CV-Wire, DC Touch Start TIG, Downhill Pipe and CC-Stick. Gouging takes carbon rods up to 5/16 in. (8.0 mm) without stalling the engine, touch-start TIG needs no high-frequency unit, and Chopper Technology with a hot start gives a smooth, low-spatter arc and easier restrikes.
As a welder/generator it supplies three-phase output of 12.5 kW peak and 11 kW continuous and single-phase output of 11.5 kW peak and 10 kW continuous, enough for power tools and plasma cutters while welding. The four-cylinder, naturally aspirated Kubota diesel draws from a 20 gal tank. Stainless steel panels and an easy-access service door ease upkeep, an engine protection system shuts the engine down automatically, and a VRD, sealed GFCI receptacles and circuit breakers on all outputs add electrical safety. Ready-Pak versions of the Vantage 322 add trailers, cables, electrode holders and work clamps.
