Lincoln Electric VIKING 3250D FGS PAPR Welding Helmet, 4C Lens, Extended Battery
The Lincoln Electric VIKING 3250D FGS PAPR is a powered air-purifying welding respirator that combines a HEPA-filtered blower with an auto-darkening helmet and a clear integrated grind shield. It is NIOSH approved under 42 CFR 84 with an assigned protection factor of 25, and this extended-battery kit includes a 16-hour lithium-ion battery and a 120V charger.
The VIKING 3250D helmet uses 4C lens technology, which reduces the lime-green tint for truer color, with a 1/1/1/1 optical clarity rating and a 12.50 sq in (2.94 x 4.25 in) view in a large 5.25 x 4.5 in cartridge. Shade is continuously variable from 5 to 13 through an internal control, sensitivity and delay are continuously variable too, and the lens has a grind mode, four arc sensors and solar cells backed by a replaceable lithium battery. IR 5 side windows widen the view, and the 4-axis headgear spreads the weight evenly.
The blower unit measures 8 x 7.5 x 3 in, weighs 2.20 lbs and moves 6+ CFM (180+ LPM) on low or 7.4 CFM (210+ LPM) on high. Its HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particulates, an LED display and audible and vibrating alarms keep the wearer informed, and speed adjusts automatically. It operates from 23 to 131 F (-5 to 55 C). The kit adds a 29-52 in padded belt, shoulder straps, a hose with FR cover and an industrial duffle bag, and the helmet takes a magnifying cheater lens or a KP3707-1 or KP3708-1 hard hat adapter.
