Lincoln Electric VIKING 3250D FGS PAPR Welding Helmet, 4C Lens, Standard Battery
The Lincoln Electric VIKING 3250D FGS PAPR is a powered air-purifying respirator welding helmet with an intelligent blower, a HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of particulates and a 12.5 sq in auto-darkening 4C lens. The helmet has a built-in clear grind shield plus side windows rated shade 5, and the NIOSH-approved system has an assigned protection factor of 25.
The blower measures 8 x 7.5 x 3 in., weighs 2.20 lbs and moves 6+ CFM (180+ LPM) on low or 7.4 CFM (210+ LPM) on high, working from 23 to 131 F (-5 to 55 C). It reports status on an LED display, warns with sound and vibration and adjusts its speed automatically, and the loose-fitting, positive-pressure design carries NIOSH 42 CFR Part 84 approval. This kit comes with the standard 8-hour lithium-ion battery, a 120 V charger and 2 HEPA filters.
The integrated clear grind shield and side windows widen the view whether the helmet is open or closed, which can cut setup, inspection and weld time and makes grinding, inspection and moving around less hazardous. The lens is continuously variable from shade 5 to 13 with internal control, adjustable sensitivity and delay, a grind mode and 4 arc sensors, with a 5.25 x 4.5 in. cartridge and a 2.94 x 4.25 in. view. Four-axis headgear spreads the weight evenly, and the helmet takes a magnifying cheater lens and accepts a hard hat adapter (KP3707-1 or KP3708-1).
