Lincoln Electric VIKING 3350 XG PAPR Welding Respirator, Standard Battery

The Lincoln Electric VIKING 3350 XG PAPR is a powered air-purifying welding respirator whose helmet has a low-profile external grind button for changing between weld and grind modes in seconds. It is NIOSH approved under 42 CFR 84 with an assigned protection factor of 25, filters air through a HEPA filter, and this kit comes with the standard-capacity lithium-ion battery and a 120V charger.

The XG helmet uses Lincoln's 4C lens technology, a proprietary liquid crystal display that broadens the visible color range, together with 1/1/1/1 optical clarity and a 12.5 sq in auto-darkening view in a 5.25 x 4.5 in cartridge. Shade is continuously variable from 5 to 13 through an internal control, sensitivity and delay are adjustable, and the lens has four arc sensors and is powered by solar cells backed by a replaceable lithium battery. It also accepts a magnifying cheater lens and a hard hat adapter.

Patented air delivery uses adjustable baffling, so the wearer can aim and spread the airflow for comfort and to help prevent dry eyes. Air passes a spark screen, a pre-filter and the HEPA filter, rated at 99.97% of particulates at 0.3 microns. The 2.20 lb blower measures 8 x 7.5 x 3 in, delivers 6+ CFM (180+ LPM) on low or 7.4 CFM (210+ LPM) on high, adjusts its speed automatically and reports through an LED display with audible and vibratory alerts. It operates from 23 to 131 F (-5 to 55 C).
