ArcReach lets the operator change settings at the feeder or a remote instead of tracing cables back to the power source, Cable Length Compensation keeps the set voltage accurate, and SunVision digital meters show voltage, wire feed speed and, if desired, amperage.

Adjustments happen at the feeder or a remote, so nobody has to trace the weld cable back to a power source that may be hundreds of feet away, and Cable Length Compensation (CLC) automatically corrects voltage for cable length so the voltage set is the voltage delivered. A heavy-duty drive motor with tachometer control keeps wire feed speed accurate within and between welds, the front panel carries trigger hold, wire jog and gas purge, and a wide voltage range suits small and large wires. The SunVision meters stay readable even in direct sunlight.

The impact-resistant, flame-retardant case keeps moisture, dust and other contaminants away from the components and wire; built-in slide rails let it be dragged into position, and the door allows wire changes with the feeder upright or on its side. The potted and trayed main circuit board has full trigger isolation that keeps a shorted gun trigger from affecting feeder operation, and a gun locking tab, recessed gas inlet and double-filtered gas valve protect the gun connection and gas supply. Ultra-low drag inlet guide pins and a scaled wire pressure knob make wire loading easy and keep drive roll pressure consistent.
