The Miller Bobcat 265 Kohler is a gas welder generator for stick and flux-cored welding that starts and stops wirelessly from a key fob. A digital interface with Auto-Set speeds weld setup, a 10-pin connection takes Spoolmate and Spoolmatic spool guns directly, Accu-Rated generator power reaches 11,000 W of usable peak output, and the machine suits maintenance and repair, construction, farm and ranch work.

One button on the key fob starts the engine and another stops it, and the fob lights up and beeps once the Bobcat receives a command. Miller says this keeps the engine from running when it is not needed, which lowers noise, stretches each tank of fuel and spaces out maintenance. The fob is water-resistant.

This engine-driven welder also provides predictive maintenance information, productivity screens and front-panel maintenance displays. Bobcat 265 Kohler gas models offer ArcReach, battery charge and an electric fuel pump as options. Accu-Rated generator power makes 11,000 W of peak output usable for at least 30 seconds, and the welder/generator weighs over 100 pounds less than previous models and is 13% smaller.
