Miller Bobcat 265 Kohler Welder Generator, Electric Fuel Pump, Remote Start/Stop
The Miller Bobcat 265 Kohler welder generator with electric fuel pump is a 23.5 hp gasoline engine-driven welder rated 265 A at 27 V and a 100% duty cycle for stick, DC TIG, MIG and flux-cored welding. It supplies 9,500 W of continuous and 11,000 W of peak single-phase auxiliary power, and remote start/stop comes with this configuration.
CC/DC stick/TIG and CV/DC MIG/FCAW output are both rated 265 A at 27 V and a 100% duty cycle, across a 20-265 A range, and air carbon arc cutting and gouging is supported at a rated carbon diameter of 3/16 in. (4.8 mm). Weld and auxiliary power are separate, so full auxiliary output is available at any weld setting, and GFCI protection is fitted. The machine welds steel, stainless steel and aluminum for fabrication, field, structural and industrial welding as well as mobile fabrication and MRO, and it suits maintenance/repair, construction, farm and ranch use.
Power comes from a 23.5 hp Kohler gasoline engine that idles at 2300 RPM, runs at 3600 RPM when welding and draws from an 11 gallon tank. Easy arc starts and low spatter are part of the design, and the digital interface speeds machine setup. The unit measures 26.5 in. high, 20.13 in. wide and 37.06 in. long, weighs 382 lbs and has a standard lift eye, with running gear or a cart and a trailer optional. Miller says it is over 100 lb lighter than previous models and 13 percent smaller, saving truck space and payload.
