Miller Bobcat 265 Kohler Welder Generator with Battery Charge/Crank Assist
The Miller Bobcat 265 Kohler welder generator with battery charge/crank assist is an engine-driven welder for stick and flux-cored welding that pairs the battery function with the key fob remote start/stop fitted to every Bobcat 265 Kohler gas model. A digital Auto-Set interface, a direct 10-pin spool gun connection and 11,000 W of Accu-Rated usable peak generator power are built in.
Remote start/stop lets the operator switch the machine on and off from a key fob, so the welder/generator runs only when it is needed; Miller ties this to more work per tank of fuel, longer intervals between maintenance and no walks back to the machine. The water-resistant fob has one start and one stop button, and it lights up and beeps once the Bobcat receives a command. On Kohler models ArcReach, battery charge and an electric fuel pump are optional, and this configuration is the one equipped with battery charge/crank assist.
Stick (SMAW) arcs start easily with less spatter on 7018 and 6010 electrodes, the Auto-Set interface helps set precise parameters for each process, and the integrated 10-pin connection takes Spoolmate and Spoolmatic guns without an adapter for aluminum welding. Accu-Rated generator output holds 11,000 W of usable peak power for at least 30 seconds with no arc interference on the auxiliary supply. Maintenance displays on the front panel, toolless panels and fuel fill and oil drain/filter on one side simplify service, and Miller rates the machine over 100 lb lighter and 13% smaller than previous models.
