Miller Dynasty 300 AC/DC TIG/Stick Welder with CPS, 208-600V, 1/3-Phase, 907818
The Miller Dynasty 300 with CPS is a 55 lb AC/DC TIG/stick inverter welder that delivers 1-300 A and welds material up to 3/8 in. thick. Auto-Line input accepts single- or three-phase power from 208 to 600 V with no manual linking, and a built-in 120 V receptacle can power a Coolmate 1.3 cooler.
Parameters are set on an LCD that guides setup with on-screen explanations and images. Program memory keeps weld programs, Pro-Set fills in preset values for balance, frequency, pulse and DIG, and Locks and Limits restricts adjustment to the ranges of a welding procedure specification (WPS). A USB port updates software, backs up settings and copies programs to another machine, and QuietPulse reshapes the DC pulse waveform so pulsed TIG (GTAW) runs with less noise.
The welder's power switch also turns on the CPS outlet, a design meant to help prevent torch failure. For stick (SMAW), DIG arc control and adaptive Hot Start are built in, and the machine handles air carbon arc (CAC-A) cutting and gouging with carbons up to 3/16 in. (4.8 mm). Maximum open-circuit voltage is 60 VDC. An 8 ft (2.4 m) primary cord, an adjustable shoulder strap and two 50 mm Dinse-style connectors come with it, and dual carry handles help with transport.
