Miller Face Shield PAPR Respirator for Grinding, Clear Shield, HEPA, 288356

The Miller Face Shield PAPR is a complete powered air-purifying respirator for grinding, finishing and plasma cutting, giving HEPA protection against particles and fumes from stainless, galvanized and aluminum work. It carries NIOSH 42 CFR 84 and ANSI Z87.1+ 2015 certifications and an assigned protection factor of 25 with the standard head seal, and its Gen 2 blower produces up to 215 LPM.

The clear face shield uses High-Definition View (HDV) technology, keeping the image crisp and low in distortion from any angle. A patent-pending Dualtec manifold improves balance and sound, and the 6-point air distribution system places air where it cools most. One-touch flexible headgear gives a secure fit without overtightening, and the washable flame-resistant head seal has an ultra-soft outer cuff; it can sit over the ears for added protection or in front of them to ease communication, and its cape protects the head in out-of-position work.

The lightweight, low-profile Gen 2 blower offers low, medium and high fan speeds, and its LCD displays the current time, fan speed, battery level and filter timer. A six-bar gauge tracks the remaining charge, and audible and vibrating alarms warn of a low battery. Each lithium-ion battery runs up to 8 hours per charge and recharges in 3 hours, and the kit includes two batteries with a charger, a HEPA filter, six prefilters, a spark guard, breathing tube and cover, padded belt, shoulder straps, a flowmeter and a tool bag.
