Miller Filtair 215 Industrial Welding Fume Extractor, 215 CFM, 208-230V 1-Phase

The Miller Filtair 215 is an industrial, high-vacuum welding fume extractor built to give several operators enough flow to capture fume right where it forms, using nozzles, fume guns and other portable attachments. Rated at 215 CFM, it needs 208-230 V single-phase power and offers more than 130 ft of reach between attachments.

The MERV 16 filter is rated to catch at least 95 percent of weld fume. A self-cleaning mechanism runs a pulse cleaning cycle on its own whenever one is needed, which can make the filter last up to eight times longer; the mechanism requires an 80-100 psi compressed air supply. Filters change bag-out style, and the particulate disposal bin at the rear opens as a drawer released by its handles.

A variable flow control sets the right airflow for each application, and compatible accessories cover slotted nozzles, funnel nozzles and fume extraction guns. The flat top can hold a dual wire feeder, storage handles keep fume guns and hoses in place, and large rear wheels roll easily over weld cables. An optional auto start-stop (part 292774) keeps the unit off until its sensor detects torch activity.
