Miller Filtair 215 Industrial Welding Fume Extractor, 215 CFM, 460V 3-Phase

The Miller Filtair 215 is a high-vacuum welding fume extractor that lets several operators capture weld fume where it is produced, through fume guns and nozzles. It moves 215 CFM through a self-cleaning MERV 16 filter rated to trap at least 95 percent of weld fume, runs on 460 V, 3-phase power and comes with one 8 ft collection hose.

For multi-operator welding fume extraction, the system connects to fume guns, slotted nozzles and funnel nozzles, with more than 130 ft of reach between attachments, and variable flow control sets the airflow each job needs. The flat top can carry a dual wire feeder, storage handles hold fume guns and hoses, and large rear wheels roll over weld cables. An optional auto start-stop (part 292774) keeps the unit off until its sensor picks up torch activity.

When the filter needs it, a pulse cleaning cycle starts on its own and can stretch filter life as much as eight times; the cleaning mechanism needs compressed air at 80-100 psi. Collected particulate goes into a disposal bin whose drawer releases from handles at the back, and filters change bag-out style. It has a 5.5 HP (4.0 kW) motor and a sound level of about 67-70 dB on low and 78-80 dB on high at 5 ft, and it measures 30 x 22 x 46 in. and weighs 390 lbs.
