Miller Filtair MWX-S Mobile Welding Fume Extractor, Self-Cleaning, 7 ft Arm

The Miller Filtair MWX-S is a mobile welding fume extractor with a self-cleaning MERV 15 high-efficiency filter and 875 CFM of airflow. This package includes the 115 V extractor, a 7 ft extraction arm, 8 in. in diameter, and a FilTek XL filter. It suits fabrication shops, repair work, manufacturing plants and training centers that need to move their fume extraction from job to job.

Within the Filtair MWX line of mobile fume extraction systems, the S model uses a self-cleaning filter and the D model a disposable one. The high-volume unit works with an 8 in. diameter extraction arm that comes in 7, 10 and 12 ft lengths, and this version carries the 7 ft arm.

A 1 HP, 3450 RPM motor runs on 115 V, 1-phase, 60 Hz power at approximately 11.9 A, with a sound level of about 70 dBA at 5 ft. The extractor measures 35 x 32 x 48 in. (H x W x D), and the MWX-S weighs 300 lbs.
