Miller Filtair SWX-D Wall-Mount Welding Fume Extractor, 7 ft Arm, 875 CFM, 115V

The Miller Filtair SWX-D is a wall-mount welding fume extractor that pairs a disposable MERV 15 high-efficiency filter with a blower fan rated at 1,200 CFM, for an accu-rated minimum of 875 CFM at the hood. This package includes a 7 ft extraction arm, 8 in. in diameter, and suits fabrication shops, repair work, manufacturing and training centers.

The package includes the wall-mounted cabinet with its disposable FilTek XL filter, a 115 V blower, a 115 V on/off control box and a mounting bracket for the blower and arm; 115 V wiring is not included. Within the Filtair SWX line, the D model uses a disposable filter and the S model a self-cleaning one.

For wall-mounted welding fume extraction, the 8 in. diameter arm comes in 7, 10 and 12 ft lengths, and this version has the 7 ft arm. A 1 HP, 3450 RPM motor runs on 115 V, 1-phase, 60 Hz power at approximately 11.9 A, and the sound level is about 75 dBA at 5 ft. The extractor measures 29 x 27.25 x 33 in. (H x W x D), and the SWX-D cabinet weighs 130 lbs.
