Miller Intellx Basic Swingarc Boom Wire Feeder, 12 ft, Dual Wire, 951805001

The Miller Intellx Basic Swingarc is a boom-mounted wire feeder for large weldments, and this model pairs the Intellx Basic feeder with a 12 ft boom in a dual-wire setup. Its counterbalanced boom rotates 360 degrees with a 60-degree lift angle, ArcConnect puts point-of-use controls at the feeder, and EZ-Set sets parameters from material thickness.

EZ-Set removes setup complexity and shortens welder training time, and ArcConnect is next-generation communication intended to improve weld performance. For pulsed MIG, Miller points to the Intellx Pro or Elite feeder versions, which it credits with an operating window 28 percent wider and a more forgiving arc.

Hoses and cables run inside the boom, which keeps them organized, protects them from damage and leaves a cleaner work area. The counterbalance makes the boom easy to position, the rotation and lift angle maximize the work area, and AccuLock S consumables are part of the feature set. Swingarc models come in single- and dual-wire versions with 8, 12 or 16 ft booms, sized for weld cells with 16, 24 or 32 ft diameter work areas.
