The Miller Maxstar 210 DX is a 38 lb (17.2 kg) pulsed DC TIG/stick inverter welder suited to precision fabrication work, production, maintenance and field service. TIG output runs 1-210 A and stick 5-210 A, and Auto-Line input adapts to 120-480 V single- or three-phase power without manual voltage linking.

Pulsed DC TIG (GTAW) gives finer heat control on thin material, and arcs start either by non-contact high frequency or by Lift-Arc. The machine suits stainless steel, carbon steel, chromoly and titanium; with DC-only output, aluminum cannot be TIG welded. For stick (SMAW), adaptive Hot Start raises output at the strike when needed, the arc handles E6010 rod, and Low OCV Stick reduces idle open-circuit voltage to 9-14 VDC.

Compared with the standard Maxstar 210, the DX adds full features and extended ranges. Digital meters, Pro-Set presets, a memory card port for software updates and a standby power-down are built in, and Fan-On-Demand runs the fan only as needed. Applications range from aerospace, automotive and food-grade stainless fabrication to petrochemical work, mobile welding service and industrial maintenance. The cabinet measures 13.6 x 8.6 x 19.5 in. (H x W x D).
