It runs on standard 120 V household power, and Auto-Set picks the weld parameters from the wire diameter and material thickness entered.

Manual Mode lets the operator set parameters by hand for aluminum, stainless steel or any mild steel job. The angled all-aluminum drive pairs a three-groove Quick Select drive roll (two grooves for solid wire sizes, one for flux-cored wire) with a calibrated tension knob, and it keeps wire feeding steady and setup simple with MIG guns up to 15 ft long. Smooth-Start gives clean, low-spatter starts, and Auto Spoolgun Detect senses whether a MIG gun or spool gun is attached, so no switch is needed.

Thermal overload protection shuts the unit down and lights the over-temperature indicator if airflow is blocked or the duty cycle is exceeded, and Tip Saver cuts output when the tip shorts to the work, which lengthens contact tip life and shields internal parts. The package also includes a 6.5 ft power cord with plug, 10 ft work cable with clamp, an argon and Ar/CO2 flow gauge regulator with hose, a Hobart spool of .030 in. solid wire, two contact tips, Quick Select drive rolls and a material thickness gauge.
