The Miller Millermatic 211 PRO is a dual-voltage pulsed MIG welder for MIG and flux-cored welding on 120 V or 240 V power, switched with the tool-free Multi-Voltage Plug. It adds Dyna-Pulse and BeadVision to Advanced Auto-Set, welds steel up to 3/8 in. in a single pass, and comes with a 15 ft MDX 100 gun and 15 ft work cable.
Dyna-Pulse lowers heat input to limit distortion on thin material and keeps spatter down, which means less grinding and rework, and it copes with changes in position, joint and wire type with fewer adjustments. BeadVision shows graphically how each setting change affects penetration and bead profile. Advanced Auto-Set matches the settings to the shielding gas, wire size and material in use, Manual Mode gives full control, and Program mode saves and recalls favorite weld settings.
The upgraded cast aluminum drive adds calibrated tension controls and a quick-select roll for .024, .030 and .035 in. solid wire and .030/.035 in. flux-core wire. When a Spoolmate 100 or Spoolmate 150 spool gun is plugged in, the machine detects it and configures itself for aluminum welding. Smooth-Start, built-in Tip Saver protection and inverter technology are standard, and the package adds a Smith argon and Ar/CO2 regulator/flow gauge with hose, a 6.5 ft power cord with 120 V and 240 V plugs, two contact tips and a material thickness gauge.
