The Miller Millermatic 255 with EZ-Latch Cart is a 250-amp inverter pulsed MIG welder packaged with EZ-Latch running gear for MIG, flux-cored and pulsed MIG welding. It runs on 208/240 V single-phase input, welds aluminum, stainless and mild steel up to 1/2 in. thick, and releases from the cart for work in a cell or confined space.

Latches hold the machine on the EZ-Latch running gear, and loosening the retaining knob and rotating the latches releases it, so loading machine and cart into a truck needs no lift truck. The running gear is packed in its own box and needs some assembly, and a chain to secure the gas cylinder is included. At 84 lb for the machine alone, the welder weighs more than 50 percent less than the Millermatic 252.

Auto-Line technology accepts any single-phase input from 208 to 240 V without manual linking, which helps where power is dirty or unreliable. Setup runs through a 7-inch color LCD with Auto-Set Elite predefined settings and a program mode for favorite settings, and pulsed MIG lowers heat input and spatter on thin material. The package also includes a 15 ft (4.5 m) Miller MDX 250 MIG gun, a 10 ft power cord, a work cable with 50 mm Dinse-style connector, a flow gauge regulator, contact tips and drive rolls.
