Miller Multimatic 220 AC/DC Multiprocess Welder
The Multimatic 220 AC/DC combines MIG, DC stick and AC/DC TIG in a 56 lb machine that runs on 120 or 240 V input, so one unit covers steel and aluminum work. This package includes a wired foot control, a TIG torch and a MIG gun, and QuickTech handles polarity and process changes automatically.
QuickTech determines polarity on its own, keeps a MIG gun and a TIG torch connected together, changes process when the trigger or foot control is pressed, and restores the settings last used. Auto-Set Elite supplies predefined settings for MIG, stick, AC TIG and DC TIG. In the manual TIG and stick modes, Pro-Set provides preset values: AC balance 75%, AC frequency 120 Hz, DC pulse 100 Hz and stick DIG 30%.
TIG settings can be adjusted over a wide range: AC balance 60-80%, AC frequency 60-150 Hz and DC pulse from off to 150 PPS, with Lift-Arc and high-frequency starts. Two shielding gas inputs let MIG gas and TIG gas stay hooked up together, and the standard 14-pin connector takes a foot control, a fingertip control or a wireless foot control.
