This Multimatic 220 AC/DC package pairs the MIG, DC stick and AC/DC TIG welder with a wireless foot pedal, which removes the foot-control cord from TIG work. QuickTech switches polarity and process automatically and recalls the last MIG or TIG settings, and the welder runs on 120 or 240 V input.

High-frequency, non-contact arc starting helps keep tungsten and the workpiece free of contamination. Pro-Set covers AC balance and frequency in TIG, DC pulse in TIG and DIG in stick, Auto-Set Elite supplies predefined weld settings, and 6010 stick electrode capability is included.

A generator of 10000 W or more gives full output, and smaller units limit it. Operator controls plug into the standard 14-pin connector: foot, fingertip or wireless foot. Specified capacities are 24 ga. to 3/8 in. steel and 18 ga. to 3/8 in. aluminum in MIG, 16 ga. to 3/8 in. steel in stick, and 24 ga. to 1/4 in. steel and aluminum in TIG.
