Miller PAPR II Welding Respirator with T94-R Helmet, Three-Speed Blower, 292753

The Miller PAPR II with T94-R helmet is a powered air-purifying welding respirator for industrial welding. It protects against hazardous particles, metal fumes and mists, including hexavalent chromium and other alloy fumes in stainless steel work, and pairs a ClearLight 2.0 welding helmet with a three-speed Gen 2 HEPA blower that has an LCD display.

The T94-R helmet's ClearLight 2.0 lens sharpens contrast and clarity in the light state to ease eye strain, and it adds HDV optics, half-shade settings and shade 5.0 side windows that open up the view below and to the sides. A well-balanced design reduces neck torque for all-day wear, and the patent-pending Dualtec manifold with 6-point airflow distribution aims cooling air at the hot areas of the face. Four-point flexible headgear with an oversized pivoting back pad adjusts for tilt, distance and tightness.

The Gen 2 blower measures 8.25 x 7 x 3.25 in, weighs 3 lbs and runs at 175, 195 or 215 LPM, with battery life of 10, 9 and 8 hours at those speeds. Two lithium-ion batteries are included; each recharges in 3 hours and lasts roughly 500 charges. An LCD with filter timer, audible and vibrating alarms, a low-profile breathing-tube attachment with snag-free flexible tubing and integrated backpack-style shoulder straps round out the system.
