Miller PAPR Welding Respirator with T94-R Helmet, Dual-Speed Blower, 264573

The Miller PAPR with T94-R helmet is a powered air-purifying welding respirator that protects against hazardous particles, metal fumes and mists, including hexavalent chromium and other alloy fumes, so it suits shops where stainless steel fumes are present. A dual-speed HEPA blower, a Dualtec manifold with 6-point air distribution and two lithium-ion batteries are part of the package.

The T94-R helmet comes without an integrated grind shield. Its well-balanced design reduces neck torque for all-day wear, its ClearLight lens sharpens contrast and clarity in the light state to ease eye strain, and shade 5.0 side windows open up the view below and to the sides. The patent-pending Dualtec manifold balances the helmet and manages sound, a low-profile breathing-tube attachment makes the system easier to put on and take off, and the flexible tube material keeps the breathing tube from snagging in the work cell.

The 2.2 lb blower measures 8 x 8.5 x 3.25 in and moves roughly 197 LPM on low or 215 LPM on high. Battery life is 6-8 hours on low and 4-5 hours on high; each lithium-ion battery recharges in 3 hours and is rated for roughly 500 charges, and audible and vibration alarms alert the wearer. The kit contains the HEPA filter, six prefilters, a spark guard, breathing tube and cover, padded belt, shoulder straps, two batteries, a charger, a flowmeter and a tool bag.
