Miller PAPR Welding Respirator with T94i-R Helmet, Grind Shield, X-Mode, 264575

The Miller PAPR with T94i-R helmet is a powered air-purifying welding respirator whose HEPA filter guards against solid dust, metal fumes and mists, from aluminum, cadmium and lead to steel/manganese alloys, galvanized steel (zinc oxide) and stainless steel (hexavalent chromium). The helmet adds a 44 sq in integrated grind shield, X-Mode arc sensing and InfoTrack 2.0.

The T94i-R offers four lens modes (weld, cut, grind and X-Mode) with half-shade adjustment and ClearLight high-definition optics for precise arc recognition. In X-Mode the lens senses the weld electromagnetically, so sunlight does not interfere and the arc is still detected when the sensors are blocked. InfoTrack 2.0 logs arc time and arc count for quoting, an aluminum heat shield reflects heat, design changes shield the auto-darkening lens from dust and moisture, and shade 5.0 side windows widen peripheral vision.

The lightweight, low-profile blower weighs 2.2 lbs, measures 8 x 8.5 x 3.25 in and offers dual air speeds of roughly 197 LPM on low and 215 LPM on high. Battery life is 6-8 hours on low and 4-5 hours on high; each lithium-ion battery recharges in 3 hours and is rated for 500 charges, and two are included. Four-point flexible headgear with an oversized pivoting back pad, a washable flame-resistant head seal, integrated shoulder straps and a quick-release belt finish the system, which has a net weight of 15 lbs.
