Miller 70 Series S-74 MPa Plus Single Wire Feeder, Push-Pull Aluminum, 951291001

The Miller S-74 MPa Plus is a single 70 Series wire feeder for MIG and flux-cored welding that builds on the 74D by adding push-pull aluminum capability. Wire feed speed spans 50 to 780 IPM, and when paired with an Invision MPa or XMT MPa power source it adds synergic pulsed MIG and Profile Pulse.

Miller's 70 Series is a standard, straightforward feeder line for most heavy-industrial applications. Digital meters display preset and actual voltage, amperage and wire feed speed, and remote voltage control sets both voltage and wire feed speed at the feeder. Burnback and motor ramp control on board help with arc starts and stops, trigger hold supports long welds without holding the gun trigger, and the 16-gauge sheet metal housing is made for rough service.

For aluminum, the XR-Aluma-Pro Plus and XR-Pistol Plus are the dedicated push-pull guns, with gun and feeder wire speeds coordinated for optimized feeding and welding. With an Invision MPa or XMT MPa, synergic pulsed MIG adjusts pulse parameters automatically as wire speed changes, and Profile Pulse gives MIG welds a TIG-style stacked-dimes appearance with adjustable ripple spacing and no gun manipulation. Quick-change drive rolls, a toolless rotatable drive assembly and a high-torque 24 VDC permanent-magnet motor complete the feeder.
