The Miller Spectrum 375 X-TREME plasma cutter is a 19 lb, 30 A portable unit that cuts mild steel and stainless steel up to 3/8 in. and aluminum up to 1/4 in. Auto-Line circuitry accepts 120-240 VAC single-phase power at 50/60 Hz, and the package includes an XT30 torch on a 12 ft cable, MVP plugs, a shoulder strap and the X-CASE.
Rated output at 104 degrees F is 20 A at 88 VDC and 60% duty cycle on 120 V (15 A), 27 A at 92 VDC and 35% on 120 V, and 30 A at 92 VDC and 40% on 240 V, with cutting amperage from 14 to 30 A. Thickness ratings assume a steady travel speed of about 15 inches per minute. The MVP plugs (5-15P for 120 V, 15 A and 6-50P for 240 V, 50 A) connect the 10 ft power cord to either receptacle without tools.
Auto-Refire switches the pilot arc in and out automatically on expanded metal or several pieces of metal, so there is no need to re-trigger by hand, and automatic air regulation holds the recommended torch pressure despite changes in supply pressure. Wind Tunnel Technology keeps dirt and dust away from the electronics, and the Fan-On-Demand fan switches on only when cooling is needed.
