Miller Spectrum 875 Auto-Line Plasma Cutter, 208-575V, 7/8 in. Cut, 20 ft Torch
This Miller Spectrum 875 Auto-Line plasma cutter is a 54 lb, 60 A unit that cuts mild steel and stainless steel up to 7/8 in. and aluminum up to 5/8 in. Auto-Line connects it to any primary voltage from 208 to 575 V, single- or three-phase at 50 or 60 Hz, and this package includes an XT60 hand-held torch on a 20 ft (6 m) cable.
Rated output at 104 degrees F on three-phase power is 60 A at 140 VDC with a 40% duty cycle at 208 V, 50% at 230-380 V and 60% at 380-575 V, plus 50 A at 100% on 380-575 V. Single-phase ratings are 60 A at 40% on 208 V, 60 A at 50% on 230 V and 50 A at 100% on 230 V. The capacity ratings assume a travel speed of about 15 inches per minute.
There is no pressure gauge or regulator knob to set, because air pressure to the torch adjusts automatically, and Auto-Refire manages the pilot arc on expanded metal. Wind Tunnel Technology keeps abrasive dust away from internal parts, the Fan-On-Demand fan switches on only when cooling is needed, and a Miller engine drive or generator of 10 kW or more can power the unit. Retrofit kits convert the hand-held machine for CNC/automation cutting, and it measures 8.75 x 13.5 x 18.5 in. (W x H x L).
