Miller Spoolmatic Pro 30A Aluminum Spool Gun, 30 ft Cable

With a 30 ft (9 m) cable, the Miller Spoolmatic Pro 30A gives aluminum MIG welders more room to move between the machine and the joint, in the shop or out in the field. This pistol-grip spool gun runs .030-1/16 in. wire from a 1 lb spool and is rated 200 A at 100% duty cycle.

An isolated, knurled common drive roll works with a durable motor and drive to keep feeding and the arc consistent while cutting downtime and maintenance. Service is quick: the drive assembly is easy to get at and the head tube comes off without tools, so rolls can be swapped or routine upkeep handled while the gun stays assembled. Tension presets cover 4000 and 5000 series aluminum.

Turning the head tube helps the gun reach cramped joints, and its self-seating fit keeps it sealed against leaks with strong current transfer. The same head tubes fit XR-Aluma-Pro gooseneck-style guns, and Miller offers optional tubes in other lengths and bends for joints a standard tube cannot reach. Preflow comes from the two-stage trigger and built-in gas valve, and the spool canister swings through 180 degrees.
