Miller SuitCase 12RC Wire Feeder, BTB 300A Gun, Preflow/Postflow, Trigger Hold

The Miller SuitCase 12RC is a portable suitcase wire feeder with remote voltage control as standard, and this version comes with a BTB 300 A gun and has preflow/postflow, trigger hold and burnback functions. It is intended for work within 100 ft of the power source where running control cords is acceptable, and the feeder is housed in an impact-resistant, flame-retardant case.

SunVision digital meters show voltage and wire feed speed, plus amperage when needed, and stay readable even in direct sunlight. With remote voltage control, the operator does not have to walk back to the power supply to adjust settings. A scaled wire pressure knob makes drive-roll pressure easy to set and keeps it consistent, and ultra-low drag inlet guide pins ease wire loading without deforming the wire on its way into the drive rolls.

The impact-resistant, flame-retardant case keeps moisture, dust and other contaminants away from the components and the welding wire, built-in slide rails let the feeder be dragged into position, and the door design allows wire changes with the feeder upright or on its side. A potted, trayed main circuit board with full trigger isolation keeps a shorted gun trigger from affecting feeder operation, while a gun locking tab, a recessed gas inlet and a double-filtered gas valve protect the gun connection and the shielding gas flow.
