The Miller Syncrowave 212 Water-Cooled Package is an AC/DC TIG welder with a 20-210 A range, high-frequency starts and Auto-Set, running on single-phase 50/60 Hz power through separate 120 V and 240 V primary cords. Its contents include a 12.5 ft, 150 A TIG torch, a heavy-duty 14-pin wired foot control, a gas lens kit and a regulator/flow gauge.

Auto-Set offers predefined weld settings for operators of every skill level, and the LCD guides setup with on-screen explanations and images. The process selector offers AC TIG, DC TIG, DC stick and MIG spool gun, and amperage or voltage is set to suit the material thickness. Pro-Set marks a recommended value by turning the number blue for AC balance and frequency, DC pulse and DIG, and high-frequency starts are non-contact, avoiding tungsten and material contamination.

The standard 14-pin connector works with a wired or wireless foot control or a fingertip control, and the package's heavy-duty wired foot control (301589) has a 20 ft cord. Also supplied: the 12.5 ft (3.8 m) 150 A torch with Dinse connector (WP1712MFDI50), 6.5 ft (2 m) cords for 120 V and 240 V, a 15 ft (4.5 m) work cable with clamp, a 15 ft (4.5 m) electrode holder and a regulator/flow gauge with hose. An optional water cooler or a spool gun can be added to the machine, which welds aluminum from 0.020 in. to 1/4 in.
